"Jesus Under Seige" is for those who want get into the "Jesus Seminar" issue but don't want to get into it heavily or need a good place to start. Basically it is the condensed version of "Cynic Sage". When I first picked up "Cynic Sage" I had a harder time understanding it. I decided to buy "Jesus Under Seige" to get the grasp of what "Cynic Sage" was about. "Jesus Under Seige" is really easy to grasp, and is for the layman. It should be on the library shelf next to "Cynic Sage" for those wanting to breaking into "Cynic Sage" or those wanting to get a general grasp of the "Jesus Seminar" issue.
